Scott McDowell was born in Denver, Colorado, and moved to St Joseph in 1977.

Scott attended Lafayette High School and is a MWSU graduate with a BS degree in Speech Communication, Human Relations emphasis and a Minor in Psychology. He is also a Licensed Public Auctioneer and a US Army Veteran.

Scott has an extensive background with the internet and the various aspects involved in internet advertising and Search Engine Optimization. Scott is an expert when it comes to internet advertising and works with clients to determine the best way to present their business on the Stjoechannel.com and stjoechannel.biz internet websites, maximizing Google and Bing search engine returns.

Before starting with KQ2 Scott was employed as a trade show Manager and managed the Topeka Boat and Outdoor Show, The Shreveport LA Hunters Expo, and the Denver Home Remodeling shows.

Scott joined the sales team at KQTV in December of 2011 and is proud to be working with local business to help them with their advertising needs be it on Television or on KQ2s websites.
