Built in 1974, LaVerna Village Nursing Home is located 10 minutes North of St. Joseph, Missouri and just 50 minutes north of downtown Kansas City in the beautiful small town of Savannah, Missouri.

LaVerna Village is owned and operated by Platinum Healthcare LLC, a Chicago-based multi-nursing home system and is a Medicare and Medicaid skilled care facility, licensed by the state of Missouri.

The 120 bed facility accommodates both men and women and features semi-private and private rooms when available. LaVerna also houses a spacious 20-bed special care unit for Alzheimer and related dementia care.
