Have you ever wanted to peek inside the beautiful homes on St. Joseph’s Historic Museum Hill? The Allied Arts Council is hosting the first Beer Walk for the Arts on Saturday, June 8 from 3 -6 p.m. in the St. Joseph Historic Museum Hill Neighborhood. Check-in and last tasting for the Beer Walk are at Wyeth-Tootle Mansion located at 11th and Charles.
The Beer Walk for the Arts pairs beer with food from local restaurants: Luna’s Catering, The Gothic Tea House, Shakespeare Chateau, Bleeker Street Deli Company, Whiskey Mansion, and the JC Wyatt House. At each house, a local band will provide entertainment while patrons sample beers from craft breweries such as O’Fallon, Weston, Abita and Summit. The lineup for the local bands includes Under the Big Oak Tree, Whiskey for the Lady, The Souveneers, Ryan Johnson & Sam Stephan, The ReAgents, and Western Appeal.
After visiting all of the homes, patrons are encouraged to come back to the Wyeth Tootle Mansion for their last taste and to participate in the silent art auction featuring one of a kind pieces from St. Joseph’s thriving arts community. For another fun twist, visit Brooke Kuykendall’s pop up photo booth.
Cost is $35 per person, or $50 a pair (multi-ticket discount available through May 31) and quantities are limited, so purchase your tickets today! Ticket price includes beer tastings, and food pairings.
